劍雪

Denise Ho (何韻詩) and Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文) have recently collaborated in a duet, "Sword Snow" <劍雪>, that will feature as the theme song for the 6th Asia Game Show (第六屆亞洲遊戲展) that will be taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 22-25 December 2007.

The song has been produced by Denise, who also played a part in writing the music. She said that when she was choosing the genre to follow in her venture with Sammi, she considered many options such as dance music and ballads, but finally settled on a rock beat, because this would bring something new and fresh for the fans. Sammi explained that the song brings together two different elements to create something new, reflecting the song, which has brought together her and Denise.

During the recording session, Denise paid for dinner and Sammi took responsibility for ordering, resulting in a spread of fried food. Many singers would be afraid of eating this type of food in the studio during recording, but Sammi showed her boldness and confidence in making this decision and laughed that with a slight raspiness in her voice after eating fatty fried foods, this would be perfect for the rock song vocals.

During the session, as Denise was in the producer role, Sammi often referred to her as "producer" and said that she was just a newcomer, so she had to ask Denise how she did. Of course, Denise was very pleased with the outcome and said that she did not imagine that it would run so smoothly. Sammi then asked jokingly whether or not she would win a newcomer award this year. To this, Denise replied that she would do well with a little more work, but she was already too late to take part in this year's awards ceremonies.

The ladies were full of good words for each other during their collaboration and Sammi said that Denise is often laughing and playing, but when she entered the studio, she became very serious and focussed, making her very seductive.
